It will be a few weeks before the 2022 season gets going but when it does, it will start with three straight events in the state of Florida.
The Tour’s winners-only Tournament of Champions gets underway in Orlando on January 20th.
Last year it was Jessica Korda holing a 25-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to beat Danielle Kang. The 2022 event has a new name and a new venue.

Play starts on January 20th and like last year, there will be celebrities teaming with LPGA stars.
The Tour moves to Boca Raton on the 27th for the first full-field event. Nelly Korda, now the world’s No. 1, won the Gainbridge last year at Boca Rio in Boca Raton.
The third week in Florida will be a new event — the Drive-On Championship and the LPGA Tour goes back to Ft. Myers for the first time since 1975. The Crown Colony Golf and Country Club will be the host venue for a 120-player field.
Austin Ernst won the Drive-On last year at the Golden Ocala Golf Club but the LPGA Tour is billing this go-round as an inaugural event.
