You gotta figure the voting was a mere formality.
Your PGA Tour Player Of The Year is, drum roll please……………….Brooks Koepka!
Stop the presses, throw this out on page one, the voting is in and it’s Brooks!
Worst kept secret in America, no shock, no surprise, really. This one was decided after the big fella won the U.S. Open and the PGA to bag two majors this past season.
So voted the PGA Tour players with the exception of Koepka himself.
Koepka confessed he was basically “too lazy to vote.”
Also admitted he would have felt awkward voting for himself.
Next Player Of The Year title coming for Koepka will be the one awarded by the PGA Of America. No surprises there either, after all, he did win their major to finish the season.
No shocker there, we’ll just wait for the announcement.
