The amazing, wonderful residents of the DogLegNews Dog House have played host to so many different folks from the world of golf — Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson and Greg Norman are probably tied for the coveted title “Visitors Emeritus.”
But it’s finally time for the dogs to head out for a well deserved vacation and there’s no place that dogs enjoy more than the beach.
So it’s time for them to roam free, frolic and play their hearts out.
They’ve enjoyed their time with you.
Now it’s their turn, their time to play.

Good that you are taking some time off. However …. When are you gonna be back to catch us up on your pontifications on the AP Inv and Players?
Tom Edrington
Bob….sadly all good things eventually come to an end and my DogLeg days have — it’s been a pleasure and a privilege to hopefully entertain the readers when it comes to this wonderful game we call Golf. Fairways and greens!

NOOOO!!! Kidding, right!?
Well if not, are you gonna write a eulogy for DL News to let us know when your last article will be?
Tom Edrington
Bob: I’m basically done, there’s some leftovers being published but well, all good things come to an end, as have my DLN writing days.

Well you have done a good job entertaining us over the DLN years. I personally will miss what I am sure would have been a good article on this years Masters dinner and your wrap up of the LIV circus demise in the coming months. And your arguments with Baxter were always worth waiting for. You have followers such as my self that will surely miss your pontifications on the world and people of golf. Enjoy your beach time my friend! Salute!!

Truth be known, not much beach time; the world of commercial real estate is keeping me beyond busy that and working on guitar skills, made my first stage appearance at a fundraiser last weekend…..good news is I didn’t screw it up….but vocals are a work in progress…..found out why performers wear those ear pieces…..you can’t hear yourself singing on stage with amps aimed at you, which makes it hard to know when your pitch isn’t quite right!! Yes, LIV is dying a slow death, horrible TV ratings, trying to blame PGA Tour for not getting a big network deal; Key Saudi, Yassir Al Rumayyan doesn’t want to be deposed and if that doesn’t happen, court case could be dismissed….as for the Masters dinner, there’s nothing like Texas barbeque!!

Tom, if you ever travel to the Dallas area just reach out and let me know. I will suggest a couple of mom & pop barbecue joints that won’t disappoint.
