This one is pretty simple, but at the same time, very difficult.
One of the most common things I’ve seen on practice tees everywhere is that golfers fail to work on their flexibility, especially as they get older.
Flexibility is something younger players take for granted but too often you see players who are taking up the game when they’re past 40, face the flexibility dilemma.
Posture in the swing is so very important and too many older players come out of their posture as soon as they begin to take the club away at address. Main reason is they are not strong enough or flexible enough to maintain the forward bend in their back.
You can take all the lessons you want but without some strength and flexibility, it’s a lost cause.
So if you want to improve your game in 2020, improve your physical abilities.
You can hit the gym or set up a stretching area at home.
Here are some simple, yet effective stretches to improve your flexibility.
Get in some extensive stretching BEFORE you head to the course, then you can simply handle a shorter stretching routine before you warm-up on the range.
Take a cue from Miguel-Angel Jimenez. He’s 56, loves fine wine and big cigars. But the man is FLEXIBLE.
