One problem with few to no spectators at these big PGA Tour playoff events is road noise.
The BMW championship was one steady, ear-ringing buzz on Sunday afternoon at Olympia Fields. Sounded like there was an interstate highway running through the middle of the golf course.
Made us wonder if NBC and its high-tech production couldn’t find a way to filter out that annoying buzz.
It persisted through the afternoon and simply made it distracting to listen to the broadcast.
You’d think they’d figure it out.
So off they go to the Dog House for a few days. And please, don’t bring the noise with you, the dogs would appreciate the quiet.

Heard some noise but hardly bothered me. Maybe because we do ffw a lot of down time.
