Safeway Open Is Up For Grabs With An Assorted Cast

There aren’t any huge names at the top of the Safeway Open leaderboard but it is certainly a cast of characters.

Brian Stuard, James Hahn and Cameron Percy shared the 54-hole lead at a whopping 16-under par with 36-hole leader Sam Burns at shot back along with full-figured Harry Higgs and Krifstoffer Ventura from Norway.

Stuard got to the top with a 66, Ventura matched it to join the threesome at 15-under.

There are some familiar names at 14-under — former Open champion Stewart Cink and first-round leader Russell Knox.
